We have now sold out of these exotic Angels Trumpets for 2010 but they were such a hit that we will definately grow them again next year. Watch this space for more news in the Spring.

How to Look After our Plants
Looking after your Angels Trumpets
These instructions are sent with the plant gift
Brugmansia, or Angels Trumpet’s are originally from South America but they are surprisingly hardy and will also thrive on a sunny summer patio or bright room in the UK
Prized for their dramatic coloured and scented trumpets, these fabulous plants will flower on and on through the summer months. Make sure your plant gets plenty of light, by putting it near a window in a bright warm room or conservatory or in a sunny sheltered spot outdoors.
These rapid growers can grow up to a metre in one season and can be repotted in mid summer to encourage growth. At the end of the summer they will die back and lose most of their leaves and they should be brought indoors to a sheltered spot above 8C for the winter months. Next year a good water and sunny spot will bring them back for another show.
These plants are very fragile and sometimes the fleshy leaves and trumpets can be damaged in transit. They will however soon recover once any bruised leaves are removed. When placing outside, ensure they are well sheltered as they can get quite top heavy over the summer. Angel’s Trumpets can be susceptible to aphids so it is a good idea to watch for pests, and treat as soon as possible.
Angels Trumpet’s are very toxic if ingested. Always wash your hands after handling and keep away from young children and pets.
