A unique perfume - a jasmine to inspire poetry. Less hardy and less prolific than its white jasmine cousin this arabian jasmine has an unbelievably sweet scent. It can be persuaded to flower all summer if you just keep cutting back the spent flowers. This weeks plants are looking really nice and bushy as pictured.

How to Look After our Plants
Looking after your Arabian Jasmine
These instructions are sent with the plant gift
This unusual Arabian Jasmine is the evergreen Jasmium Sambac. It is grown for its heavenly scent, and in Asia is widely used for bridal wreaths and in religious ceremonies. Don’t worry if some of the flowers have dropped off on the journey – with this plant each flower only lasts a few days and is replaced by further buds.
In the UK we usually grow Arabian Jasmine indoors as it is not hardy. Try to find a nice light, cool position to get the most from this fragrant plant. Bright rooms and conservatories are ideal. The cooler you keep it (within reason) the longer the flowers last although if it gets below 8°C, it will start to suffer. Try to keep your jasmine away from radiators and draughts in the winter.
Keep nipping off the spent flowers to encourage more shoots and buds.
If buds don't seem to be blooming ensure your plant has enough water and light. If buds and flowers are dropping check for draughts and extremes of temperature.
