Plants by Post and Courier

At Plants4Presents we have a wide range of plant gifts available for next day and scheduled delivery by post and courier. Each plant gift is carefully wrapped by hand and boxed in special designed plant boxes before despatch by your chosen delivery method. You should be able to see all the delivery options and prices on the order form once you have chosen the date, region and delivery method in the middle of the order form.

In most cases our recommended delivery method (and default setting) is ‘Mon-Fri Courier can be left’. This tracked overnight service means your plants arrive either next day or on the day you specify and spend minimum time in transit. This service costs £6.50 to addresses in mainland England and Wales and allows the courier to leave the box safe if the recipient is out. Please do feel free to specify exactly where you would like the parcel left using the special instructions box.

We deliver to all UK postcodes but surcharges may apply for Scottish Highlands and UK isles. You can click through to the order form at any time (without logging on or committing to a purchase) to check the best delivery method on different plants and to different addresses. Don’t forget to change the delivery region in the middle of the form if you are sending to Scotland, Northern Island or UK isles to see all prices.

As a general guide, the default setting of courier tracked but unattended delivery is the most reliable and quickest service for most deliveries. Our courier drivers will always attempt to attain a signature but will use their common sense and your instructions to establish where to leave the box if this is not possible. The only exceptions where you might wish to consider another service are:-

  • If you do not wish your plant to be left without a signature under any circumstances then you can choose ‘signed for courier delivery’ from the menu.
  • If you do not need a tracked service and are sending one of our smaller, lighter items like orchids or baby lemons - it can be cheaper to use first class post.
  • If you are sending one item to Scottish Highlands or Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly isles or Northern Ireland then first class post or Royal Mail Special delivery is usually cheaper and faster.
  • If you are sending one item and need a Saturday delivery then Royal Mail Special Delivery before 1pm is usually cheaper although it does require a signature and cannot be used (and so will not be displayed) for our largest plants.
  • If you are sending one of our larger plants (over 5kg) or more than one plant to each address and require a Saturday delivery then you will need to choose Saturday courier delivery. If you still have questions about our delivery or any other aspects of our service please see our ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ page on the left hand menu. Or give us a call on 0845 226 8026 - we are always happy to help.
