It was scheduled for delivery on Wednesday 23rd December, but the weather conditions - snow and ice - were so horrible and were causing such problems with traffic that I was not at all surprised when it did not arrive. I'd resigned myself to it arriving after the Christmas break, but late on the afternoon of Christmas Eve your courier appeared at the door with the box containing the tree (his van was covered with snow and he had negotiated some very icy roads to reach us).
