This lollipop shaped Hibsicus plant will make a great feature in a conservatory or light room. Producing a succession of exotic trumpet shaped flowers throughout the summer, these plants love a sunny spot.

This weeks large hibiscus are fresh in for the new season and looking fantastic with masses of buds and blooms. A great gift for a sunny room or patio, the dramatic flowers are quite short lived but they will continue to produce new flowers on and on right through to the end of November. We have red, orange and yellow hibiscus available in these mini hibiscus standards so please do make a note in the special instructions if you have a preferred colour

70cm high in a 3L pot

Looking after your Hibiscus
These instructions are sent with the plant gift
This is the indoor hibiscus - Hibiscus rosa-sinensis or "Chinese rose". They are native to the tropical region of Asia, and tend to grow in wet or swampy areas.
Hibiscus likes a, sunny spot. On a window sill or in a porch or conservatory is best. On sunny days you can put it out on a patio or balcony. A cool room is fine, but a draughty porch or a frosty conservatory is not. If it gets below 8°C it will suffer.
The flowers only open when there is warmth and light. Each dramatic flower will last one or two days but in the right spot your plant will produce a succession of these short lived trumpets throughout the summer. When the flower head drops off, pick off the small fruits left behind to encourage the new buds
It is unlikely that you will get any pests or diseases, but if you do just wash the leaves and buds with soapy water.
