Gorgeous Gaura
Out of stock

Sorry we don't have any Gaura available at the moment, but we do have lots of other lovely garden plants available for next day delivery.
Gaura make great plants for the back of the border, where their tall flowers stems will flutter in the breeze making them look like a bit like whirling butterflies.

Parent very pleased with the plant,

Brilliant and lovely plant. We were phoned as the one I ordered was not as good. The lady knew it was a Pearl Anniversary gift and advised confidently.

These instructions are sent with the plant gift
Originally prairie plants, Gaura are perennials and easy to look after. They will thrive in a sunny border in the garden or in a pot on a patio. They prefer well-drained soil and to be kept just slightly moist but not waterlogged.
Your plant will have all the nutrients it needs for the next month or so but after that if it is in a pot it would benefit from something like a bone meal fertiliser a couple of times during the summer.
They can withstand temperatures down to -5 °C but a mulch will protect them during severe winters.
Cut your plant back hard before it starts to grow again in the spring for a mass of flowers the following summer. It’s worth noting that mature plants won’t like being moved.
Problem solving
Don’t worry if dark spots appear on leaves as this is quite normal. This can be caused by cold weather but will lessen and disappear as the weather starts to warm up in the summer.
