What better way to enjoy your summer garden than to relax with your own fruit cup mixed fresh with your very own homegrown ingredients?
Included in this box is a little lemon tree, a borage plant, a mint plant, a strawberry plant and Sloemotion No 7 (a version of the famous “Pimms”)
When your ingredients are grown all you will need to buy is some lemonade!
(P.S. if you are still waiting for your lemons to ripen and you can’t wait, just use this recipe with any citrus fruit)
How to mix it!
Slice your fruit and put it in a large glass. Pour over it a generous measure of Sloemotion no7. Add plenty of ice, fresh mint, borage flowers, and freshly chopped strawberries. Top up with lemonade using a ratio of 1 part fruit cup to 4 parts lemonade.
* A fruit cup, also known as a summer cup, is traditionally an English speciality designed to be made into a long drink with addition of a mixer such as lemonade or ginger ale. This one is gin-based, although there are some varieties based on other spirits such as vodka.
