Our next open day is Sunday 18th June 1-5pm

We'll be offering:

  • a chance to buy and browse from a huge range of citrus trees and flowering plants
  • tea and homemade cakes beside the reservoir
  • fresh seasonal cut flowers to buy by the bunch
  • citrus fruits Nursery Entrance Open Day Alan at the Reservoir Citrus at the Nursery Entrance Emily doing a Tour

£2 suggested entry with proceeds to the local St Peter and St James Hospice

A few things to note about the day

We are working nursery and we are not normally open to the public so please wear sensible shoes and look kindly on the untidy corners. Children must be supervised at all times and because we have working cats on site, dogs will need to wait outside the main greenhouses.

We expect tours to take approximately half an hour and at the end of the tour you will have the chance to either enjoy tea and cake beside the reservoir or to return to our main plant area to buy and browse.

The drive and pathways are difficult for wheelchairs so those with mobility problems are best to check with us in advance if they would like to visit so we can allocate suitable parking.

The greenhouses can be very hot in summer, so please do wear layers if you can. In the unlikely event of stormy weather it is possible we will have to cancel the open day. We will only do this if there is a threat to safety but if you are in any doubt please do check here or on 01825 721162 on the day.

If you have any further questions about our open day on the 18th June or about our open day on the 1st October please do contact us by phone or email and we'll do our best to help.

    Directions

Sat nav or google maps will normally find us at BN8 4JJ with no problem.

We're on a quiet country road approximately 15 minutes east of Haywards Heath, 15 minutes west of Uckfield and half an hour north in the car from Brighton. Starting from the A272/A275 double roundabout at north chailey, you will need to take the A275 north towards the Bluebell Railway and Sheffield park. Carry along this road for about a mile and look out for a brown bed and breakfast sign on the right hand side. Take this right hand turn signposted towards Fletching and then you should travel another half mile or so down this road until you see our Plants4Presents and Fletching Glasshouses sign (and the big old greenhouses) on the right at the end of our dirt drive.

One of our team will be around in high vis jacket to greet you on arrival but please park in the marked areas and walk down the drive to the nursery entrance.
