Already proving popular, these stunning clematis are looking just as pictured with plenty of strong green foliage and the first pretty bell shaped flower buds. Great gifts for gardeners at Christmas or for winter birthdays.

This plant was delivered to a relative who lives some distance away so I haven't seen it, but it was delivered on the right day and the recipient was over the moon with it. These pretty winter flowering clematis are a lovely way to brighten up a dull wall or fence. Their attractive evergreen leaves and subtle white flowers will add interest in the garden when very little else is happening.
If you want to enjoy your clematis in a pot for a short while choose a cool spot. The cooler the roots, the longer the flowers will last. After flowering, you can plant your clematis out in the garden in a sheltered spot next to a wall or fence or even up a tree or scrambling through a bush. Its roots should be cool and planted deep and the new shoots should grow freely towards the light. It will vary a little from season to season, but this evergreen variety usually start flowering in January/February and bloom right through into April.
Whilst in a pot, your Clematis will need to be watered regularly. Water thoroughly from the top every couple of days and let the excess drain away during the day. You may want to add an ordinary house plant feed to the water every week or so to help your plant continue flowering.
Clematis like peaty (acid) soil and are vigorous climbers.
