Cordyline plants are very popular houseplants for good reason. With its striking red foliage, this variety Strawberry Queen 'baby doll' makes a particularly stunning feature in a home or office. They love as much sunlight as you can give them to maintain their colours and so a south facing window is perfect for them.

With its striking striped foliage, this Cordyline will make an attractive addition to any bright room. This variety is called Strawberry Queen and will be happiest in a south facing window.

Your Cordyline will be happiest in a bright room. To maintain their vibrant foliage they need plenty of direct sunlight and so a south facing window is ideal.

Cordyline do well at normal room temperature however like increased levels of humidity so your plant will appreciate an occasional misting. It is best to mist your plant in the evening as damp leaves will be scorched in direct sunlight.

Your Cordyline will need regular watering, especially during the spring and summer, aim to keep the soil moist. Be careful not to overwater your plant as it will begin to suffer if left sitting in water. During the winter you will likely find your plant doesn’t need watering as regularly.

Problem solving: These plants do best in direct sunlight which can lead to their soil drying out quicker than expected. Be careful to water your plant regularly and keep the soil moist.

Brown tips to the leaves are the result of a dry atmosphere, if you notice this, try giving you plant a good misting and water more regularly. Over time the lower leaves will tend to dry up and turn brown, remove these to keep your plant looking tidy.
