New smaller box reduces damages and our environmental impact
Here at plants4Presnts, we are dedicated to finding new ways to reduce our environmental impact. As part of this commitment, we have launched a brand new, smaller box size: the 30cm box alongside 4 other existing specialist plant boxes. This extension of our box range allows us to package smaller plants in an more environmentally friendly and safer way.
All our plants are carefully selected by hand, prepped, bagged, gift wrapped and boxed in environmentally friendly packaging to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition on the day
Plant Safety
At Plants4Presents we take plant safety very seriously and we're chuffed that this new box size allows us to further reduce the chances of any damage in transit. Removing empty space in the box is vital in guaranteeing safety. This new box allows us to pack our new and existing smaller plants with more confidence since it minimises the amount of movement possible within the box and helps to ensure that your beautiful plant gifts will arrive in tip top condition. We take immense pride in ensuring that every single plant is packed with the care you would expect if you were doing it yourself. When we need to fill any remaining voids within our boxes we use fully recyclable and compostable packaging to ensure your gifts reaches their destination without any issues.
Environmental Impact
The first rule of environmental responsibility is 'reduce'. This new smaller box means we're using less resources both in terms of the raw materials that make up the box and in terms of space within the courier vehicles that transport your gift across the UK. Less empty space within boxes means we can fit more parcels into each collection, leading to fewer vehicles needed to do the same number of journeys on the road. All this allows us to move one step closer in our goal of reducing our environmental impact. A reduction in the amount of cardboard used also reduces the amount of cardboard that needs to be recycled too, so a win win all round.
We are not resting on our laurels though, at Plants4Presents we are constantly looking at new and innovative ways to reduce our environmental impact further, such as our compostable glassine envelopes and biodegradable starch based bags. We reuse and recycle as much of our own nursery waste as possible and we continue to remain focussed on finding even more ways to reduce, reuse and recycle while maintaining our high standards in the process.

Greetings Cards
A free greetings card is included with all our gifts. Add your personal message and we'll beautifully handwrite the message in the card for you
Care Instructions
All our plants are sent with our easy to follow A5 care instructions giving you guidance how to unpack your plant, and on the best position, watering, feeding and pruning
Our Range of Plants
At Plants4Presnts, we have five different box sizes, ranging from our smallest, which is the new 30cm high box, and going all the way up to our large box (1.1 meters). This wide range of box sizes allows us to place a plant more accurately in a box that fits the plant perfectly, reducing any damages in transit and reducing our material use in the process.
