In stock
- Wooden trough filled with seasonal hardy plants
- Great gift for any occasion
- Delivered gift wrapped and boxed with a handwritten greeting card
Delivered with a bright mix of plants in bud and bloom all set off by an attractive dark wooden trough. These planters include seasonal plants looking their prettiest. Because we make these planters up fresh each week at the nursery, the exact selection does vary from week to week but they will always be nice and colourful.
At the moment we are including 5 to 6 plants from the following hardy garden plants: locally grown dianthus, polyanthus, saxifrage, bellis, pansy, violas, erysimum, primroses, phlox, hyacinths, tete a tete, muscari, crocus and decorative ivy.
We'll always use a nice complimentary selection of flowering plants and colours, but if you have any preferences on specific colours or plants to include or exclude then please do let us know in the box below, or alternatively leave it up to us to choose a nice colourful arrangement on the day.
A brilliant gift to let someone know you are thinking of them and brighten their day. These troughs make great gifts to bring cheer to a winter doorstep or porch and will flower for several weeks. Also available in a yellow trough for spring.

These instructions are sent with the plant gift
Your planted basket is made up of hardy plants that will do best either outdoors, in a cool room or porch. They don"t mind a bit of frost but try to protect them from very heavy frost or snow.
Outdoors you probably can allow the rain to do your watering, but try to make sure your planter does not sit in a puddle. If you are keeping your planter indoors, aim to keep the compost damp not dry or soggy.
It is a good idea to keep pinching out the flowers as they fade to encourage the young buds and to avoid mildew. Once all the flowering plants are over you can still enjoy the foliage, and you can even replace the flowering plants with summer bedding plants in the spring.
