Pink Flowering Plants

Pink flowers often represent playfulness, gentleness, and joy. Whether it is the birth of a beautiful baby girl, to send to a romantic interest, or a gift to send good health wishes, pink flowering plants are a thoughtful way to let someone know you care.

Camellias, roses and hellebores are classic pink flowering plants. Other popular choices include pink hyacinths, cyclamen, and geraniums. We even sell pink poinsettias - but get them whilst they are available, they sell out quickly!

This collection of pink themed plants covers everything from vivid pinks to subtle pastel shades and deeper magenta hues. Please do note that for some plants multiple colours may be available so you may need to select from a drop down menu or add a note in the special instructions if it's a pink hued plant you are after. Some plants may only be available at certain times of year but we'll update this page regularly with more pink flowered favourites and of course if there is a particular pink flowered plant that you are searching for that isn't listed here then please do feel free to get in touch and we'll always help if we can.

What about pink themed planters? Our gorgeous planted arrangements are made up fresh at the nursery by our planter queen, Fiona, so if you'd like a particular colour palette just let us know. We often have pink flowered cyclamen, primulas, and dianthus that can be included in a special planter so please just make a note in the special instructions to let us know you'd like just pink flowering plants or a nice mixture of complimentary pinks, whites and purples in your planter for example and we'll do just that.

Pink Plant Care

Plant care is super important to get the most out of your plants long term. Each plant will have specific preferences but at Plants4Presents we make that easy for you and for the gift recipient. We’ll always include a full A4 care sheet outlining our top tips to ensure the plant thrives and our helpful team are always at the end of the phone too. Our range includes plenty of easy going plants for plant beginners and as an example we’ve included a few top care tips for some of our most popular pink plants:

Camellias

  • Light: Bright , indirect light or partial shade is best
  • Water: Keep soil damp rather than waterlogged so just make sure excess rain can drain away
  • Pruning: Remove spent flowers but otherwise these easy going garden plants will take care of themselves

Hyacinths

  • Light: Bright, indirect sunlight
  • Water: Water sparingly until shoots appear; then keep the soil moist
  • Pruning: Remove faded flowers to encourage a second bloom

Cyclamen

  • Light: Cyclamen are woodland plants so keep them out of direct sunlight whether indoors or on a patio
  • Water: If possible stand your plants in water to avoid wetting the crown
  • Pruning: Remove yellow leaves and spent flowers occasionally

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I ensure the plant I receive is pink?

Some plants are available in multiple colours. To make sure you get a pink hue, look for a plant option dropdown menu if available, or add a note in the "Any Special Requests" box specifying your colour choice. Pink plants are popular year round, but certain species peak at particular seasons. For example Cyclamen and Hyacinths are usually classic for Winter / Christmas, Geraniums and Hibiscus perform well in spring/summer and Camellias may bloom in late winter to early spring

Can I send a pink flowering plant as a gift, and can I include a message?

Yes, absolutely. Each pink plant gift will be gift wrapped and a card with your personal message can be added. Don't forget to choose your pot to pair with your plant from the "Free Container" drop down menu.

Can I request a pink themed planter?

Yes! Our planters are made fresh on a daily basis at our nursery. You can request a palette of pinks (or pinks mixed with whites, purples, etc.) in the special instructions, and we’ll arrange accordingly.
